Introduction to MOO: Commands

With the following commands, you'll be enjoying the MOO in no time!  Please remember to not type the < > that appear around portions of the commands. Instead, substitute the information inside the < > with your own. For example, if your MOO character's name is PicoQueen with password Jor4Gu, you would change the command  co <character> <password> to co PicoQueen Jor4Gu when you actually type it.

Here's the list of frequently used commands (and a few that you need to set up your MOO character). Each of these should be typed on one line. Hit the enter key after you've typed the whole command (See 'Example' for what these should look like):

@describe <object> as <description> @describe me as <description> @describe here as <description> @describe #1481 as <description>	Decribe your character, room, or object (You must be in the same location as what you are describing or use it's 'object number'. You can only describe places and things that you own or create in the MOO.)	@describe here as A place as silent as stone and as vast as the night sky. water drips from the stalactites and stalagmites; faintly phospherescent moss glows in patches on the rocky walls.
@gender <gender>	Set your character's gender	@gender male
Communicating
"<what you want to say>	Speak to others in the same location in the MOO	"Hi! What's going on?
:<action you want to do>	Perform an action visible by others in the same location	:waves to everyone.
page <character> <message>	Talk to someone who is not in the same location or to talk to someone privately	page Cyberius I think I just destroyed the MOO!
+<character> <action>	Long distance emote	+PicoQueen waves
Getting Around
@who	Get a list of who is currently logged on	@who
walk to <location>	will move you to that location	walk to Techrhet Barn
join <character>	Move to someone else's location	join PicoQueen
<exit>	If a room lists a direction you can go to reach an adjacent location, type that direction as a one-word command	door west loft
home	Move yourself to your home. This is good for when you accidently get stuck somewhere and can't get out any other way.	home
@sethome	Set a place you own as your home. You will 'wake up' in this place whenever you log on.	@sethome
@audit <character>	Get a list of everything someone owns in the MOO, and all the object numbers of objects and places they own	@audit me @audit PicoQueen
